We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Framingham, MA. In this role, you will manage a variety of accounting and admin tasks related to AP, reconciliations, and overseeing the license/permitting for the company. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow your accounting expertise while contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Perform reconciliations for credit card transactions, bank accounts, and general ledger entries.

• Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice entry, payment approvals, and disbursements.

• Oversee licensing and permit applications, ensuring compliance and timely renewals.

• Prepare and analyze cash flow reports to support financial decision-making.

• Conduct detailed reporting and analysis related to store activity and operations.

• Compile and present financial data to upper management to assist with strategic planning.

• Collaborate on various ad hoc projects to address business needs and enhance efficiency.

• Maintain a proactive and team-oriented approach to achieve departmental goals.

• Communicate effectively through written and verbal channels to ensure clarity and accuracy.

Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an entry-level staff accounting role.

• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills; familiarity with R365 is a plus.

• Strong background in reconciliations and accounts payable processes.

• Experience with licensing and permitting is highly desirable.

• Solid knowledge of general ledger and journal entry functions.

• Competence in using QuickBooks or similar accounting tools.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.
