The Commercial Excellence CoE is chartered with maximizing the productivity and effectiveness of the GE Digital commercial teams. The Commercial Tools Program Manager will provide analytical support and insights into the current commercial processes in order to identify and prioritize areas of improvement through IT automation/ tool deployment.

Essential Responsibilities

You will be a part of the horizontal commercial excellence COE organization and will be responsible for providing key program support around all commercial excellence initiatives, primarily in the area of Commercial Tools. This includes wing-to-wing execution of business critical, cross functional projects to deliver high quality outcomes to internal and external customers. This role partners with cross functions to define requirements, drive the initiative to ensure outcomes are delivered on time, and monitor overall results of programs.

  • Analyze current sales processes to identify and prioritize areas for improvement through IT automation / tool deployment. Create and champion business cases, cultivating end-user to leadership level support across GED.

  • Partner with IT resources to deliver high-value modifications supporting the GED selling process, as well as transition existing tools to supported technology stack.

  • Manage tool deployment and training. Leverage peers to create best in class training and support materials for existing tools and commensurate with the deployment of deliverables.

  • Coordinate program support activities, including the development of internal and external communications, establishing roadmaps and benchmarks, developing implementation, testing and training plans and ensuring the successful transition to support and maintenance teams.

  • Leverage your domain expertise; you are expected to further the knowledge and improve productivity of your colleagues with activities such as creating learning content, giving presentations, and supporting a continuous learning culture.


Basic Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree. A minimum 5 years of professional experience.

  • Project/program management experience within sales in a global environment

  • Experience with process quality methodology

  • Demonstrated program management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and communication

  • Awareness of and ability to deliver compliance requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization

  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a global matrix organization

  • Analytic, creative and business focused problem solver

  • Ability to learn complex systems and business processes and define requirements for solutions

  • Experience as a business user/analyst working with large scale data
