Service Technician
Job Description
The technician will receive daily work instructions and work orders that will outline their day. Once the work orders are received, the technician will be responsible for preparing trailers and units for delivery, maintaining the units and furniture, loading and unloading furniture onto the units, utilizing hand and power tools to make repairs, performing basic grounds maintenance, documenting their work throughout the day, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, reporting issues, and maintaining a safety mindset throughout the day.
Responsibilities
Prepare trailers and units for delivery
Maintain the units and furniture
Load and unload furniture onto the units
Utilize hand and power tools to make repairs
Perform basic grounds maintenance
Document work throughout the day
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues
Report issues
Maintain a safety mindset throughout the day
Essential Skills
Experience with production
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
Carpentry skills
Ability to assemble and repair units
Experience with drywall and painting
Mechanically inclined
Ability to read and interpret work orders
Attention to detail
Ability to lift 50lbs Additional Skills & Qualifications
Steel toes required

This is a contract to hire position with a performance review upon becoming permanent, which can result in a pay increase of $1/hr-$3/hr. Work Environment
The work environment is non-climate controlled and involves outside/yard work. You will be working with a team of 25-35 in production. Steel toes are required. The working hours are from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays. The latest you would work is 5:00 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
