Responsibilities

  • Manage a team on-site Maintenance Technicians at various client locations across the North American market

  • Ensure all maintenance work is completed on schedule, including seeing that preventive maintenance operations are carried out on time

  • Travel regularly to assigned client sites and, when necessary, assist team members in their daily work by providing technical and operational support

  • Serve as Exotec's local representative and brand ambassador at assigned client sites

  • Track and monitor performance of Exotec systems on your assigned sites, sending weekly reports and metrics to Exotec's North America branch and global headquarters in France

  • Assume responsibility for recruitment, leadership and development the Maintenance Technician team

  • Support the Maintenance Director in writing and updating maintenance contracts

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in maintaining and repairing industrial equipment and/or machinery, with at least 3 of those years managing field maintenance team(s)

  • Some knowledge of the warehouse automation, industrial robotics, materials handling and/or logistics space would be highly beneficial

  • Flexibility with up to 30% regular travel to client sites

  • Excellence knowledge and repair skills in mechanical and electrical maintenance issues

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Excellent communication and rapport-building skills, both internal and external-facing

  • Ability to maintain, and even repair when necessary, strong, positive partnerships with clients

  • A comfort and ease working in fast-paced, everchanging environments, like robotics and technology
