job summary:
An Inspection Technician Associate is needed for a Swiss-American pharmaceutical and medical device company specializing in eye care products in the Fort Worth, TX area. The Inspection Technician Associate conducts quality inspections of surgical instrumentation products, examining parts for conformance to engineering requirements and specifications.

responsibilities:
Inspect purchased parts, assemblies, hardware, special processes, and materials for conformance to engineering requirements and specifications.
Examine items for defects in materials, work, and damage occurring in transit.
Compare quantity and part number of items received with purchasing data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of the order.
Interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerance to qualify parts into stock locations.
Skills:
Experience in manufacturing inspection, repair, test, or quality within a medical device industry.
Experience using various inspection tools such as CMM, Optical Comparator, Height gauges, V-Blocks, Thread Gauges, Micrometers, and Calipers.
Experience performing First Article Inspections.
Fluent reading, writing, understanding, and communication skills in English.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1-3 years of relevant experience.
