Aerotek Traveling Field Electromechanic in Fort Wayne, Indiana
Overview:
Travel Electro-mechanical maintenance technician (Shop or Field Technician openings)
Training in Casper, WY - company paid (1 week)
Assigned to locations in TX, CO, WY, UT, AR
12 month contract with opportunity to become direct employee
Former 91D military experience is similar to this work
Must be able to comply with DOT compliance
Description:
-Conduct regular maintenance, inspection, and assembly of industrial equipment
-Assemble mechanical components according to specifications.
-Examine machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.
-Be active in designing maintenance plan and tasks regarding upgrades and replacements.
-Computer activity: Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.
-Inventory and new parts ordering.
-Assessments of equipment/machinery to alert clients on issues or proactive potential issues.
-Be knowledgeable and informed on safety policies, standards, and procedures.
-Required to be safety-first minded and immediately report all incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions to your supervisor.
