Aerotek Traveling Field Electromechanic in Fort Wayne, Indiana

Overview:

  • Travel Electro-mechanical maintenance technician (Shop or Field Technician openings)

  • Training in Casper, WY - company paid (1 week)

  • Assigned to locations in TX, CO, WY, UT, AR

  • 12 month contract with opportunity to become direct employee

  • Former 91D military experience is similar to this work

  • Must be able to comply with DOT compliance

Description:

-Conduct regular maintenance, inspection, and assembly of industrial equipment

-Assemble mechanical components according to specifications.

-Examine machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.

-Be active in designing maintenance plan and tasks regarding upgrades and replacements.

-Computer activity: Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.

-Inventory and new parts ordering.

-Assessments of equipment/machinery to alert clients on issues or proactive potential issues.

-Be knowledgeable and informed on safety policies, standards, and procedures.

-Required to be safety-first minded and immediately report all incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions to your supervisor.
