Store Operations Specialist
Location: Fort Wayne, IN or Remote

Travel: Frequent - up to 75%
About the Role:
The Store Operations Specialist is the key contact for consultative training in best practices surrounding store operations, point of sale, and customer service excellence.
In this role, you’ll support members transitioning to our preferred point of sale system, train on best practices for members new to hardware retailing, analyze and review inventory best practices, and coach members in maximizing revenue by implementing proven systems into their store operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable learning new technologies, have retail experience, and be able to influence learners to adopt new strategies.

Responsibilities include:
Visit members on-site to perform training services and implement operational best practices
Meet with members to analyze existing store operations and determine areas for improvement
Partner with our preferred point of sale vendor to have a successful go live at member stores
Be able to use and train on key features of the Epicor POS platforms (Eagle, and Propello)
Coach members on best practices for inventory management
Provide input to corporate team to ensure training remains comprehensive, relevant, and integrates updated material
Meet with members and express the value of in-store operations services at our bi-annual member conventions
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field OR five years work related experience
Experience in retail operations, retail merchandising, and/or point of sale systems
Skills and Abilities:
Efficient analytical skills to assess all elements of a member or prospect’s business
Driven to provide and recommend tools and programs to allow increased growth & profitability of members and Do it Best
Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills
