Parkview North Hospital Service Charge Analyst in Fort Wayne, Indiana
Summary
Analyzes departmental accounts for Parkview Health System/PRMC including inpatient, outpatient, observation, and ECC visits. Determines appropriate coding/billing charges according to written procedures and criteria as it relates to charging. Assures timely turnaround of charts on a daily basis Promotes efficient and accurate charging for billing. Data entry completed for all Departmental Services and Outpatient accounts.
Education
Must be a High School graduate. Successful completion of a Medical Terminology course preferred.
Licensure/Certification
Addendums are required for 0153 Nurse Leader, 0249 Registry RN, 0252 Registered Nurse, 0235 Advanced Registered Nurse, and 0236 Expert Registered Nurse. To view addendums, go to the job description page on Parkview’s intranet.
Experience
1-2 years experience in medical field. MA preferred.
Other Qualifications
Demonstrates experience in establishing priorities and working independently. Demonstrates attention to detail and high degree of accuracy and quality of work. Must have good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
