Job Description
As a Product Test Engineer, you will make impacts in the following ways:
Troubleshooting product at both a unit level and Circuit Card Assembly level.
When troubleshooting circuit card assemblies, looking at failed circuits, isolating the fault down to a component level, then dispositioning the repair procedures.
Using analog and/or digital electronics and embedded systems including the use of standard electrical lab and test equipment as well as advanced troubleshoot tools to complete tasks.
Support the manufacturing floor as needed to ensure that product continues to move through the process and play a vital part of instilling our company s value of maintaining a lean culture. This includes constantly looking for continuous improvement opportunities.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelors technical degree (Electrical Engineering or similar) and equivalent work experience.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, utilizing root cause analysis
Ability to interpret technical specifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to coordinate and organize multiple activities in a team environment.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience
Skills and experience utilizing Oracle, Windchill or Data Analysis software
General understanding of electronics manufacturing processes
Exposure to Industry 4.0 concepts
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $63662 - $108225
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
