What You Will Do...

  • Serve as MediTECH and Industrial Operations primary process engineer and support all Fort Wayne operations in process development, engineering, and validations. This involves initiating, leading, coordinating, and performing projects, process and equipment improvements, and validations. Communicating with customers on expectations, and creating custom processes and validations required to satisfy customer requirements.

  • Primary process engineer for MediTECH and industrial operations trouble-shooting issues and driving continual improvements in quality and cost reduction (compression molding, ram extrusion, annealing, blending operations & cross-linking)

  • Assist with Capital Project implementation. Complete change documentation.

  • Perform training on process changes.

  • Install new equipment (Physical installation, managing contractors, Management of Change, Safety documentation)

  • Assist in Root Cause Analysis work

  • Customer complaint / Quality issues RCA

  • Process reliability and repeatability analysis REX and Compression Molding

  • Design, Lead, and perform validation work for the MediTECH area with respect to processing equipment and methods. Understanding of the IQ / OQ / PQ methodology and ability to communicate with customers through their change control systems.

  • Serve as an interface to the customer for process validation and qualification efforts. Assist in the development of combined validation efforts, and also describe and explain MediTECH validation documentation to customers.

  • Continually improve knowledge of validation methods and techniques; train MediTECH employees on validations to improve the overall quality of MediTECH validation knowledge and performance.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

The salary range for this position is $80,000-$90,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
