Lockheed Martin HVAC Tech - International Assignment - Clearance Required in Fort Walton Beach, Florida
Description:
Lockheed Martin’s SOF GLSS Team, the leading provider of a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance and sustainment services is seeking a HVAC Technician for an international assignment to join the SOF GLSS team. The candidate will perform classified duties supporting multiple Special Operations groups.
What You Will Be Doing
As the HVAC Technician your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Service customers' Bare Base equipment sets on the job site
• Order materials, tools, and instruments
• Prepare reports and maintain records on equipment and preventive maintenance
• Complete required paperwork timely and accurately
• Troubleshoot equipment failures both in service center and on customer locations
• Install, maintain, and repair electronic pneumatic devices related to HVAC control
• Practice and promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA and other required regulations
• Maintain shelter and associated equipment that is supporting a unique bare base operation
• Service HVAC and exhaust systems, fan blowers, including filters, lubrications, thermostats, and controls for the entire building
• Service all building components including all physical, structure and mechanical equipment
• Perform work in confined spaces and climb ladders to perform duties related to work assignments
• Operate a forklift and aerial lift in an efficient manner
• Read diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, and manufacturer's specifications to accomplish assigned tasks
• Work with all types of equipment, including:
• Generators
• PDP's
• Expeditionary type structures
• Maintain Deployment physical status
• Possess good communication skills and be willing to learn systems outside of HVAC qualifications
• Be willing to train personnel in group setting
• Maintain confidentiality

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position requires a clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be able to obtain and maintain necessary certifications in refrigeration and HVAC
Work well with public as well as with co-workers and willing to listen to others
Be knowledgeable in the use of electrical codes, wiring diagrams, blueprints, boilers, air conditioning systems and hot water heaters along with knowledge of all chemicals used in maintaining of equipment
Must be punctual and follow rules
Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with no or minimum guidance
Better than average written and verbal communication skills

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
