This position is responsible for providing installation services for electronic security systems. This role ensures all work is performed in accordance with Company standards, contract requirements, and applicable laws and regulations, while achieving corporate targets such as revenue, profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction. THIS POSITION REQUIRES TRAVEL 100% OF THE TIME WITHIN AND OUTSIDE OF THE PRIMARY ASSIGNED REGION. Major Job Activities:
Conducts inventory of materials
Cuts, bends, and installs conduit
Demonstrates use of system and provides basic user instructions to customers
Diagnoses and resolves issues with alarm systems and networks
Enters data into various documents, systems, and platforms
Installs low voltage cabling and wiring
Mounts electronic security devices to various surfaces
Connects devices to electronic security panel
Programs the security system utilizing software at the head end
Performs project closeout activities including conducting testing, repairing close-out documents including pulling reports, data entry into documents, and red-lining Design Drawings to reflect the "As Built" condition
Provides status updates and information to internal and external customers
Performs other duties as required and assigned
Material & Equipment Directly Used:
Ability to properly utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures in compliance with Company, Project, Customer, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements
Basic Computer Skills including MS Office (Outlook and Excel), Adobe, Vizio, TeamViewer, and TerraTerm
Basic typing skills to ensure accuracy of data in closeout documents, emails, timecard, and expenses
Working Environment:
Willing to work overtime as needed
Willing to travel 100% of the time within and outside of primary assigned region
Physical Activities:
Ability to lift 50 Lbs. and maneuver 100 Lbs
Comfortable performing work at heights up to 50 Ft, using a ladder or high lift
