Quality Engineer 1

Our client, one of the most important companies in the Energy Technology Industry, is seeking a Quality Engineer.

Job Title: Quality Engineer 1

Location: Fort Payne, Alabama

Key Responsibilities

  • Support compliance with normative necessities as a codes and standards manager.

  • Procure and manage relevant codes and standards, providing them to the engineering organization, and informing about changes as necessary.

  • Manage and coordinate the maintenance of procedures and work instructions for Engineering.

  • Issue requirements for change request management in projects and provide suitable methods when needed.

  • Provide procedural support for the engineering organization, including the creation of quality notifications, maintenance and evaluation of processes (e.g., NCR, CAPA), planning and execution of design reviews, internal projects, events, ISO 9000 certifications, quality audits, and supplier qualifications.

Requirements

  • "Experienced Professional" with 2+ years of relevant experience or Master's entry.

  • Good knowledge in a technical field or business method, including basic theoretical background.

  • Develops basic business understanding and contributes to team effort.

  • Awareness of expected value add and ability to improve processes, business methods, or technical components.

  • Experience in analyzing, developing, testing, or implementing processes, technologies, and systems.
