Basic Job Functions:
Vulcraft Alabama is seeking a qualified candidate for a Sales Engineer in the Nashville market.
The successful candidate will work as a member of the Vulcraft-Alabama sales team and be responsible for but not limited to the following: initiating and leading business development endeavors, fostering relationships with new and existing customers and members of the design community, providing technical assistance and evaluating design options to add meaningful value for customers and meet project criteria, providing accurate joist and deck cost estimates from project plans and specifications. This position requires a high level of collaboration with customers and teammates. This person will be in the Nashville, TN sales office.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in engineering from an ABET - Accredited institution
Successful completion of the FE exam
Desire and ability to pass the PE/SE exam
Willing to travel for business development meetings, customer visits and other engagements
Preferred Qualifications:
Two or more years of experience in the construction industry
Degree emphasis in structural engineering
Design, estimating and/or steel detailing experience
Licensed Professional Engineer
Experience in an leadership role for a project or a team
Willing to relocate for future advancement opportunities within Nucor
