ManpowerGroup Quality Technician 3 in Fort Payne, Alabama

Our client, a leader in the energy sector, is seeking a Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the inspection and testing of electrical components. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Technician

Location: Fort Payne, AL

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 5 AM to 3:30 PM

Pay Range: $35.00/hr.

What's the Job?

  • Provide inspection services both in-process and at final to drawing, specification, and standard operating procedures.

  • Apply NDE (Nondestructive Examination) techniques such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT), Penetrant Testing (PT), and Visual Testing (VT).

  • Prepare detailed documentation of all findings and results via the corresponding electronic systems.

  • Train QA Technicians on VT, UT, PT, and PAUT requirements to certify and recertify as level II.

  • Participate in implementing preventive and corrective actions, and engage in root cause analysis.

What's Needed?

  • Level II certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) is required.

  • A minimum of 2 years of NDE experience is essential.

  • Experience with gauging, drawings, specifications, and standard operating procedures.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP is a plus.

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering or a related science field, or equivalent work experience.
