Location : Fort Mill SC

Skills Required

Must Have Skills:- Production Support Experience, Microsoft .NET Core, .Net Framework, RESTful APIs, SQL Server, Dynatrace, ELK , Solarwind,Service NOW and Oracle.

  1. Application Support Engineer with over 7 years of experience managing .Net applications in a production setting, specifically within L1/L2/L3 support frameworks.

  2. The ideal candidate should be proficient in technologies such as Microsoft .NET Core, .Net Framework, RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and Oracle.

  3. Experience with Service NOW and APM tools like Dynatrace,ELK,Solarwind or similar is also required, along with a background in batch monitoring.

  4. Key responsibilities include addressing infrastructure and application alerts, as well as resolving tickets submitted by the Helpdesk team.

  5. Skill needed to prioritize alerts according to their severity and type.

  6. The role involves debugging complex issues and conducting Root Cause Analysis by examining the problem and the code to assess its impact, followed by preparing RCA documentation.

  7. Effective and timely communication with stakeholders through various channels is essential, depending on the severity of the issue.

  8. Additionally, weekend maintenance support is expected, which includes monitoring critical alerts and responding to escalations from the Helpdesk and Production management teams as necessary.

  9. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. Familiarity with GitHub, TeamCity, and Octopus is a plus.

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $86129 to $127189/yearly.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
