Insight Global Cognos System Administrator in Fort Mill, South Carolina
Job Description
An employer is seeking a skilled System Administrator/IT Specialist with hands-on experience in Cognos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, with a focus on troubleshooting, asset and user management, Oracle scripting, and fine-tuning installations. This person will manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems. They will troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
In addition, they will perform asset and user management tasks, including provisioning and de-provisioning accounts, access controls, and permissions management, develop and maintain Oracle scripts for database management and automation, fine-tune Cognos installations for optimal performance and scalability and collaborate with cross-functional.

Skills and Requirements
Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and maintaining/fine tuning IBM Cognos BI
Experience with Oracle scripting and database management.
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Associate, IBM Certified Administrator) are a plus. null
