Cyber Electronic Warfare and Space team is currently seeking an IT Specialist II in support of an exciting new effort supporting one of our clients that is responsible for unifying the direction of cyberspace operations, strengthening DoD cyberspace capabilities, and integrating and bolstering DoD's cyber expertise.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Resolves technical problems and answers queries by telephone in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems. Diagnoses, identifies, isolates and analyzes problems utilizing historical database records. May route calls to product line specialists. Maintains and updates records and tracking databases. Alerts management to recurring problems and patterns of problems. #LI-SG1

Minimum Qualifications

AA or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 3 year related experience. HS + (5) years of experience in Information Technology may be substituted for AA degree.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Information Technology to include:

  • Establishing Video Teleconference (VTC).

  • Providing support to Emergency activities providing general situational awareness of the environment.

  • Perfuming routine and emergency actions and communications.

  • Performing routine and emergency actions critical to Operations center support including voice communication, message routing, and voice and video conference configuration and operation.

  • Providing maintenance, and controls of the systems that project on Knowledge Walls.

  • Scheduling and Operating VTC and POLYCOM Teleconference.

  • Identifying when equipment and infrastructure is fully operational, partially operational, or not operational.

  • Performing minor troubleshooting.

  • Initiating the appropriate notification procedures to address outages / degradations per relevant checklists, SOPs that specify these procedures including submitting trouble tickets #LI-SG1

    Candidates Must be a US Citizen, due to the sensitivity of the work.

    Must possess an active TS/SCI/Polygraph for consideration
