Fort Madison Community School District Substitute Teacher in Fort Madison, Iowa
Qualifications:
Must possess a valid teaching license, valid substitute teaching license or a valid substitute authorization. Must pass a background check and possess valid Mandatory Report Certification. Prefer a willingness to be available to in all levels across the district.
Job Description:
- Maintain the established routines and procedures of the school and classroom
- Maintain a climate that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students
- Maintain an effective level of communication with appropriate personnel
- Strives to maintain and improve professional competence
- Must be an innovative, passionate, and energetic individual
- Reports to the Building Principal
Pay:
- Substitutes will be paid the per diem rate of $145/day.
- After 10 consecutive teaching days for the same teacher days, the rate will increase to $150/day.
- After 20 consecutive teaching days for the same teacher, the rate increases to $160 per day.
- If you wish to accept a substitute associate position, you will be paid at the rate of $100/day.
Physical Requirements: Bending, carrying, climbing, driving, lifting, pushing/pulling, reaching, sitting, standing, walking.
