Job Description:

Techtronic Industries (TTI) has an opening in its Fort Lauderdale, FL location for a Director of Facilities that will plan, coordinate, and manage the overall operations of facilities. Primary Responsibilities

  • Create and Manage Facilities Budget

  • Develop, execute, and maintain a robust preventative and predictive facilities and machine maintenance program.

  • Mitigate risk and oversee safety and security.

  • Develop and update Capital Master Plans

  • Implement and manage work order system.

  • Create and manage environmental, health, safety, and sustainability programs.

  • Comply with all regulatory policies, building codes, and other governing procedures for building operations, construction upfits, and energy regulations.

  • Manages outside contractors, sub-contractors, and building engineers.

  • High degree of understanding of building management systems (BMS)

  • Assist in the overall planning and decision-making of projects, as well as meet with architects and engineers to review plans and projects, as needed.

  • Review, submit and execute cost savings projects.

  • Implement Artificial Intelligence (AI) into strategy planning and implement where practical.

  • Must comply with OSHA, DHEC, NFPA, and other safety related policies associated with facilities operations.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Degree in industrial maintenance or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 7+ years’ experience in a related field

  • Project Management Experience

  • Budgeting Experience and Strong Math Skills

  • Strong negotiating skills

  • Good understanding of all laws and regulations with willingness to keep up with any changes.

  • Familiar with Construction, architecture and various systems including HVAC and Electrical

  • Strong Leadership and Interpersonal Skills

  • Understand Corporate Culture and able to adapt quickly and efficiently.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills.

  • Ability to adapt to change quickly and stay calm under pressure.
