Description
PCSI is looking for a Plumber Maintenance in Ft. Knox, Kentucky! Performs receiving functions of the contract. This position will report to the Mechanical and Utilities Supervisor and is based out of Ft. Knox, Kentucky.
Typical work hours will be Monday through Friday.

What You'll Do as Plumber Maintenance:
Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and codes.
Studies building plans for determining work aids and sequence of installations.
Locates and marks positions of pipes, pipe connections, and passage holes for pipe in walls and floors.
Bends, cuts, and threads pipe using pipe cutters, cutting torch and machines.
Assembles and installs valves, pipe fittings, and pipe composed of metals, glass vitrifies, clay and plastic.
Joins pipe using screws, bolts, solder, plastic solvents, and caulk.
Leak tests pipe systems using water and gases.
Install and repair plumbing fixtures, sinks, dishwashers, commodes, and hot water heater tanks.
Repair and maintain leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, opening clogged drains, stationary drainage, storm water, storm drainage, vents, sizing sanitary drainage and protecting potable water supply.
Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:
High school diploma or GED.
Journeyman License preferred.
Five years related experience with the ability to perform the assigned duties.
Must be able to effectively read, write, and speak the English language.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Regularly required to stand, walk, and climb ladders. Frequently required to kneel, squat, bend, and reach.
Require to be able to lift 75lbs up to 10 times per day.
Ability to work as a team member.
Self-starter, able to work with minimal direction and supervision.
Requires working knowledge of related equipment.
Requires ability to use hand tools, power tools, and appliances required for installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing fixtures.
Requires ability to follow maintenance instructions, service, diagnose systems and complete repairs.
Requires demonstrated knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
Other Requirements:
Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening.
Ability to work outside in inclement weather as needed and be exposed to various dirt, debris, and odors.
Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
Possess valid Kentucky State driver’s license and maintain good driving record.
If required, ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).
