job summary:
A Project Engineering Manager is needed for the world's largest food and beverage company in the Fort Dodge, IA area. This role involves managing small to major capital projects from concept to completion, including coordinating design, construction, and commissioning activities, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, and schedule, and effectively communicating with stakeholders in the manufacturing sector.

responsibilities:
Assist in developing pre-project approval documents.
Monitor design progress and ensure adherence to project components.
Coordinate bid package development and release for construction bidding.
Select contractors and contracting methods based on engineering methodology.
Direct installation, construction, and commissioning of projects.
Manage adherence to project scope and secure approvals for changes.
Control project budget and provide cost forecasts.
Skills:
Manufacturing/factory environment experience.
Ability to work in various environments.
Understanding of utility design best practices.
Proficiency in scheduling and cost reporting software.
strong communication and leadership skills.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a PEM.
Experience managing multi-million dollar manufacturing projects.
Experience in construction management, scheduling, cost planning, stakeholder communication, and commissioning.
