TOLMAR Inc. Facility Courier in Fort Collins, Colorado

Core Hours: Monday- Friday, 7:30 am-4:00 pm Purpose and Scope The facility courier is responsible for the daily transport of intercompany materials, documents, mail and sample deliveries between sites. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Distribute mail, documents, packages, and other items between offices or departments. Safely operate company vehicles. Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail. Support the transportation of samples and materials for all departments. Assist with warehouse operations, as needed. Participate in required annual hazardous waste training. Hazardous waste involvement may include, but is not limited to container and tank management and inspections, generation of hazardous waste as a part of production or sampling processes and transfer of hazardous waste between lab procedure area, satellite accumulation and storage. Respond to spills per the Chemical Spill Procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Skill in effective verbal communication. Ability to be flexible and adapt to rapidly changing priorities. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Ability to prioritize tasks based on importance. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments. Ability to pay attention to deadlines and be reliable. Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information. Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Communication Ability to interact with peers and members of other departments in team settings in a professional manner. Provide excellent customer service. One or more years' experience working in a customer service oriented capacity. Working Conditions Position requires frequent driving in all weather conditions. Position requires working in warehouse, manufacturing, lab and office environments.
