Valiant is seeking an HVAC maintenance technician for work in a hospital environment: Installs, inspects, maintains and operates heating, ventilation, air condition and refrigeration systems. Completes routine inspections and monitors status of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment. Completes building rounds as assigned Performs preventative maintenance on HVAC and Refrigeration equipment. Performs minor and major repairs on HVAC and Refrigeration equipment. Estimates repair times and cost to HVAC and Refrigeration equipment. Makes adjustments to HVAC equipment utilizing Building Management Systems as necessary to optimize performance and for seasonal adjustments. Documents work using the DMLSS work order system. Assists others in maintenance and repairs as necessary. Experience with Building Automation Controls Systems (BAS) (Tridium Niagra 4) a huge plus. After hours work may be necessary. Pay Rate: The rate for this position is $35.02/hr for day shift and $40.25/hr for nights/weekends. However, Valiant considers several factors, including but not limited to, market data, business considerations, internal equity, the role and responsibilities of the position, a candidate's work experience, education, and training, when extending an offer.
