Position Description:
CGI Federal is seeking a talented and motivated Intermediate Level SharePoint Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SharePoint development, including customization, integration, and administration. This role involves working closely with clients and team members to design, develop, and implement SharePoint solutions that meet business needs and enhance productivity.
This position is located in Ft. Belvoir, VA.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or Associates with 7+ years of experience
Due to the nature of the work, US citizenship and a secret security clearance are required
Experience:Minimum of 5+ years of experience in SharePoint development and administration.
Experience with SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2016/2019, and Office 365.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and PowerShell.
Strong knowledge of SharePoint frameworks, including SPFx, CSOM, JSOM, and REST API.
Experience with front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Familiarity with back-end development using C# and .NET.
Experience with SharePoint workflows, forms (InfoPath, PowerApps), and automation (Power Automate).
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
Certifications:
IAT level 1 Cert or higher required
Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer or similar certification is a plus.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $190,900.00.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
SharePoint Development:
Design, develop, and customize SharePoint solutions, including web parts, workflows, forms, and templates.
Implement and configure SharePoint features, including site collections, sites, lists, libraries, and content types.
Integration and Migration:
Integrate SharePoint with other enterprise systems and applications.
Perform data migration and content management tasks, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Administration and Maintenance:
Manage and maintain SharePoint environments, including security, performance, and availability.
Monitor and troubleshoot SharePoint issues, providing timely resolution and support.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with clients, business analysts, and team members to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively use SharePoint solutions.
Documentation and Best Practices:
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and operational procedures.
Follow industry best practices and CGI standards for SharePoint development and administration.
