Job Title: Press Brake Operator
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Press Brake Operator to set up and operate CNC Press Brakes (Amada, Cincinnati, Trumpf) for sheet metal fabrication, including tasks such as bending, forming, and punching. The role involves operating various machinery, including the potential to work with laser machines in a high-paced manufacturing and production environment.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC Press Brakes for sheet metal fabrication.
Perform tasks such as pressing, bending, and forming sheet metal.
Operate punch presses and potentially laser machines.
Read and interpret specification sheets, blueprints, and work orders.
Layout and load materials using basic math and handheld measuring tools.
Utilize computer output from CAD/CAM systems for operational instructions.
Set up mills and lathes as required.
Maintain equipment in good working order, including lock out/tag out procedures.
Ensure understanding of finished product characteristics and re-work procedures.
Essential Skills
3+ years of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Experience in metalworking or hollow metal fabrication is preferred.
Proficiency with CNC manufacturing equipment.
Dexterity with basic power tools and machinery.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, specification sheets, and work orders.
Competency in using CAD/CAM systems.
Knowledge of maintaining machinery and performing lock out/tag out procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with manufacturing equipment such as mills and lathes.
Understanding of finished product characteristics and re-work procedures.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fontana, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
