The Larson Group Accounting Manager in Florence, South Carolina
The Larson Group Peterbilt is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. This potential candidate is responsible for coordinating office services, and oversees all branch accounting duties. The Accounting Manager will analyze daily accounting duties of location accounting personnel to ensure accuracy and completeness. In this position you will mainly interact with the Controller, Human Resource personnel, and the General Manager. While regularly interacting with all branch employees. What We Offer: * Paid Time Off * Paid Holidays * Medical, Dental and Basic Life * 401K with employer contribution * Bi-weekly Pay Schedule * Opportunity for advancement and Career Development Responsibilities: * Oversee all accounting policies, procedures, and standards. * Provide and prepare monthly forecasts, maintain DOC, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll information. * Provide financial data to General manager, department managers, and corporate office within prescribed time limits. * Reconcile and post truck deals within prescribed time limits. * Reconcile general ledger and subsidiaries monthly. * Coordinate with HR to assist dealership employees with HR related functions, such as payroll, benefits, accident reporting etc. * Assist department managers and HR with the new hire process, including drug screens, physicals, online onboarding, and turning in necessary paperwork. * Perform other duties as assigned by the CFO, Controller, or General Manager. Qualifications: * Should possess a High School diploma. * A College degree in Accounting, or a related field is not required, but strongly preferred. * Previous Office Management experience is required. * Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check Should possess a High School diploma.
