Main Responsibilities:

•          Apply electrical knowledge towards the assembly and wiring of machines

•          Work and build on unique custom designed machine products.

•          Apply knowledge of machine tool wiring towards dynamometers

•          Fit and adjust cabinets, conduit, and specified machine components to close tolerance and create symmetry.

•          Follow wiring schematics and understand control, instrumentation, and high power to wire equipment.

•          Perform machine installation at customer sites.

•          Ensure work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment.

•          All other related duties as assigned.

•          Possess mental faculties consistent with performing the minimum requirements of the job.

Qualifications:

•          Associate Degree in Electrical or equivalent

•          Minimum of 3 years of experience wiring machine tool equipment

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

•          Knowledge of NFPA 79 or 60204

•          Knowledge of various wires including control, high power, and instrumentation

•          Able to read and follow blueprints.

•          120V/480V 3-phase wiring experience

•          Previous Lockout/Tagout experience

•          Conduit both ridged and EMT bending skills.

•          Proven knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods

•          Proven knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.

•          Proven knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

•          Ability to use a computer.
