- - Supervises, trains and evaluates custodial staff

{=html} <!-- --> - - Identifies and reports repair needs and makes minor repairs
{=html} <!-- --> - - Performs grounds maintenance, including snow removal
{=html} <!-- --> - - Prepares facilities for special events
{=html} <!-- --> - - Prepares and maintains records and reports
{=html} <!-- --> - - May oversee outside vendor activities and monitor contract compliance
{=html} <!-- --> - Performs related duties as assigned
Essential functions of this position include: driving; standing, lifting, crouching, reaching, bending, stooping, twisting, pushing, pulling, walking with in facility to clean and stock supplies, etc; working around other staff; working alone to do paperwork, scrubbing, pushing mops, dumping wastebaskets, etc; reading labels and warnings on chemicals, ability to communicate both written and verbally with staff and co-workers; must be able to lift 60 pounds; must be able to safely use ladders up to 12 feet in height.\ \ Environmental conditions include: noise and vibrations from vacuums, floor equipment, lawn mowers, snow blowers, etc; hazards from mechanical or electrical; exposure to chemicals; atmospheric conditions-fumes, odors, dust, mist and gases; working in extreme or adverse weather conditions.
