What you get to do every day
Determine top risks and integrity controls by planning and recording processes
Perform special research and projects as needed
Execute internal audits and SOX testing; to comply with policies and procedures and assess the design and operating effectiveness of the internal control structure
Communicate project status to members of the team in an efficient manner
On a regular basis, you will execute follow-up on both open and past due internal audit and SOX observations
Record rest results and give support for an informed, objective opinion of the risk exposure
Help with the creation of audit programs by resolving the objective, scope, and work program of individual audits
Build audit observations and recommendations to management both verbally and in writing
Assist in organizing third-party compliance assessments and audits
Requirements - 2+ years of public audit or consulting experience; corporate internal audit experience also acceptable
Deep technical background in public accounting (GAAP)
SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus
CPA certification a plus
Proficient with diversified computer software and systems
Audit Prep experience preferred
General familiarity with Audit Senior
Financial auditing experience desired
Well-founded grasp of audit schedules
Command of Audit Compliance
Quality experience with Audit Standards
Proven knowledge of Audit Reviews
Wide ranging experience with Audit Workpapers
Practical knowledge of Audited Financial Statements
Deep understanding of Audit Engagements
Audit Reports experience
