Growing Ferndale label company seeking experienced digital print operator with a background in graphic design and production with an emphasis on digital print production. The successful candidate will be trained in several areas of digital print production. The long-term goal is to eventually oversee graphic design and digital print production and to back up the operators in each area when needed.

Candidates should be very well organized and able to manage multiple tasks, be able to meet tight deadlines, have excellent communication skills, and interact well with personnel in other departments. Our customers expect a high level of service and fast response times. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.

Graphic Design/Customer Service

• Work with customer service and sales personnel.
• Create art proofs for customer approval.
• Produce films for screen print and flexo production.
• Produce digital files for large format and narrow web digital print production.

Large format digital printing, HP Latex Printer

• Process files with Onyx RIP software.
• Operate HP R-1000 Latex printer.

Narrow web digital printing and finishing

• Process files for production.
• Operate narrow web digital printer.
• Operate digital finishing unit.

Other qualifications

• Experience working within a Graphic Design department.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft applications.
• Knowledge of printing processes.
• Team oriented.
• Ability to work onsite in Ferndale, Michigan.
• Other duties as assigned.
