Reporting to the HR Business Partner for Corporate, this role will provide professional HR guidance and support to corporate business units. The HR Generalist will manage recruitment, training & development, performance management, organization planning, and company social programs. This includes administration and execution of HR programs such as payroll, benefits, onboarding/offboarding, leave administration, and employee relations. The HR Generalist will ensure projects are completed on time, manage resources effectively, and support the business by collaborating with individual departments to understand their objectives, propose solutions, and implement HR projects.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the HRBP to deliver training programs, including corporate programs, certifications, skills development, and compliance requirements.
Investigate and manage employee concerns, identifying trends and themes, and providing recommendations to resolve employee issues.
Support cyclical HR processes, including performance reviews, compensation, benefits enrollment, and STIP administration.
Administer, plan, and implement assigned Human Resource programs, services, and activities such as learning/training & development, onboarding, social programs, rewards/recognition, and engagement initiatives.
Enforce policies by ensuring required standards are met and consistently applied, reporting information, and counseling managers, supervisors, and employees.
Support organizational planning based on business needs.
Process and review human resources information for new hires, terminations, position and wage changes, and other PHI requirements.
Collaborate with management to build leadership capabilities, deliver coaching, and apply disciplinary action according to established processes.
Compile termination documentation, attend termination meetings, and complete exit interviews.
Develop and maintain HR files to comply with state, federal, and corporate requirements, ensuring records are well-organized and maintained on Teams.
Prepare and maintain assigned program policies, manuals, handbooks, and procedures, revising and recommending improvements as necessary.
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations by understanding existing laws and rules, interpreting standards, enforcing adherence, and advising management on needed actions.
Provide employee relations support and conduct investigations as needed, preparing all required documentation and ensuring consistency and fairness without discrimination.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
Stay informed of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Essential Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field.
3+ years’ Human Resources management experience, including onboarding, payroll, employee relations, compensation, and benefits administration.
Proficient experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or Business Administration and/or PHR/SHRM-CP preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

Organized problem solver, able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm.
Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday through Thursday in the office, and Friday remote. The working hours are from 8am to 5pm. This role reports to the interim CHRO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.25 - $40.00/hr.
