TEC Group Inc Controls Engineer (Commissioning) in Fenton, Michigan
35.00 to 45.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Creating and commissioning industrial controls systems, PLC software design, and HMI screens
- Responsible for PLC/HMI code development, code installation, debug on job site, and commissioning of the complete system
- Responsible for controls systems design, programming, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Will work with cross functional teams to solve equipment and customer issues.
- Debug and commission 840D controls system in motion control application.
- Cell debug on shop floor and then during install full time at customer location.
Skills/Experience Required
- PLC + HMI programming experience with Siemens software (Step 7 and TIA Portal)
- Ford Experience
- Ability to program, write code, and ladder logic from scratch
- Experience with automotive manufacturing integration and commissioning.
- Experience programming within customer-defined standards and templates
- Proficient with a variety of field bus networks including but not limited to Ethernet I/P, Profibus, ProfiNet, etc.
