Job Title: Electrical Apprentice
Job Description
We are seeking two electrical apprentices to contribute to the electrical portion of a self-perform solar project. You will be responsible for wire management and module-to-module connections, as well as installing conduit for both underground and above-ground wiring. The role also involves performing labor tasks such as shoveling and pulling wire.
Responsibilities
Perform module-to-module connections
Manage wire installations
Install underground and above-ground conduit
Execute labor tasks such as shoveling and pulling wire
Essential Skills
Electrical experience in solar projects
Proficiency in conduit installation and wiring
Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems
Understanding of blueprints and schematics
Experience in industrial electrical tasks
Additional Skills & Qualifications
2+ years of solar electrical experience within the last 3 years
Apprentice or top helper classification in non-solar industry
OSHA 10 certification
Willingness to engage in labor and non-electrical tasks

Work Environment
Work outdoors at a 65 MW solar project in Farnham, VA. Experience a new construction environment with a structured schedule: five shifts a week, Monday through Friday, with potential Saturday shifts. Begin work at 7 AM daily, with three scheduled breaks. Attend morning safety talks before starting work, and wear appropriate outdoor clothing.

This is a Contract position based out of Farnham, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
