As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and progress of our clients/patients. Your responsibilities will include monitoring vital signs, responding to crises, facilitating group activities, providing transportation, and ensuring adherence to program policies and procedures. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote healing and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and document client/patient behavior, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment
Facilitate group activities, educational sessions, and structured programs
Assist with admission, discharge, and transportation of clients/patients
Administer and document medication administration as per training and policy
Respond to crisis situations and escalate concerns to supervisors or treatment teams
Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with policies
Foster positive social interactions and adaptive behaviors among clients/patients
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and treatment team meetings as required
Adhere to all program policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
High School education OR equivalent and two (2) years of responsible employment
Experience in Human Services or related field preferred
OR
- Exceptions to the qualifications listed may be made by the appropriate Executive Team member.
Required License/Certification (one of the following):
- Become credentialed as a Level 1 Med Aid (LIMA) and be Insulin Certified within the first ninety (90) days in position.
Additional Qualifications:
Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, and abuse/neglect
Valid Driver's license in state of residency with an acceptable driving record
Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age to operate a company-owned vehicle
Must be at least twenty-three (23) years of age to operate a company-owned fifteen (15) passenger van
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Extensive knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations of the assigned program
