Precipart Supplier Quality Engineer Intern in Farmingdale, New York
Precipart is looking for Supplier Quality Engineering Intern to join our Supplier Quality Engineering team. As a Supplier Quality Engineering, you will gain quality knowledge of the medical device, aerospace, and commercial industries.
10 Weeks: Monday, June 10, 2024, to Friday, August 16, 2024
Hours: 40 Hours per week
Responsibilities:
Assist with preparation of First Article Submissions, PPAPs, and Process Qualifications from suppliers
Evaluate supplier nonconformances and customer complaints to drive corrective and preventive actions from suppliers
Track and trend supplier metrics, support supplier improvement plans
Update Supplier Records or Files
Requirements:
Preferred Major: Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering
Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of Manufacturing Industry a plus
