Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. You will be responsible for receiving parts, placing them in designated locations, and maintaining physical counts through periodic cycle counts. You will also load and unload materials from delivery trucks and transport them throughout the plant. Effective communication with the Inventory Manager is essential when issues arise. You will consistently seek to improve floor space usage, properly document work order travelers, and support continuous improvement efforts. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area is crucial. You must complete assigned work within the given timeframe and specifications, cooperate with other employees to ensure a safe working environment, adhere to all company safety regulations, and perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Receive parts and place them in designated locations while keeping a physical count through periodic cycle counts.
Load and unload materials off delivery trucks and transport them to various locations within the plant.
Communicate with the Inventory Manager when issues arise.
Consistently seek to improve floor space usage.
Properly document all work order travelers.
Support continuous improvement efforts.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Complete assigned work within the given timeframe and according to specifications.
Cooperate with other employees to maintain a safe working environment.
Adhere to all company safety regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills

Pallet jack operation
Forklift operation (sit-down forklift)

Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Warehouse/stocking experience preferred
Ability to push a cart/pallet jack with up to several hundred pounds required
Ability to safely operate a motorized forklift required
Understanding of inventory transactions within a production/manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to count and measure required
Energetic and team-oriented attitude
Ability to work with minimal supervision required
Ability to work overtime when required
Prompt arrival for shift and ability to stand and/or walk for the duration of shift
Ability to read, hear, speak, kneel, bend, and use a step ladder or stool
Capable of lifting 50 pounds
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
