Class A CDL Flatbed Hauler
Job Description below if for yard loaders, which is a responsibility for all CDL drivers as well as Driving. Routes will be home everynight. Roughly a 300 mile radius. Looking for candidates that have flatbed experience, hauling construction supplies or equipment. Must pass MVR and be insurable.
Description:
In this position, candidates will be working primarily outdoors year round to unload, load, and move steel and rebar. The two main products that are distributed out of the facility are structural steel and rebar. All rebar is kept in a non-climate controlled area and is cold during the winters. Having experience in working outdoors is a plus!
Daily Responsibilities include:
Operated industrial forklift to load and unload raw and finished steel product from trucks
Operating overhead crane to unload rebar from train cars
Working in a team setting under a foreman
Performing checks on loaded product to ensure it is secured safely
Moving products from the yard into the shop as needed
Maintaining organization of products in the yard
Assisting in other departments as asked or needed
Will be delivering as well
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Previous loader or shipping associate experience: 1-2 years
Forklift experience: 1 year
Steel handling experience
Overhead crane experience preferred
Experience working working outdoors
Ability to lift 50+lbs consistently throughout the day
