Job Title: Batching Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Batching Specialist with a minimum of 1-3 years experience in food manufacturing to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for mixing products by specification to ensure all recipes are accurately followed, producing high-quality end products. This role requires a strong understanding of measuring and weighing various materials (such as grams, ounces, pounds, milliliters, gallons, cups, quarts, etc.). The position demands physical activities such as lifting up to 50lbs and the ability to bend, crouch, and twist for 8 hours a day.
Hard Skills
Food manufacturing experience
Proficiency in measuring and mathematical conversions
Machine operating experience (blenders, mixers, kettles, etc.)
Basic sanitation knowledge

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Fairfield, California.
Work Environment
The role is based in a warehouse facility where temperatures vary with the weather, potentially reaching 90 degrees near kettles. It is a loud environment, and safety gear such as hearing protection, safety glasses, hair nets, beard nets, and gloves are mandatory and provided. Work surfaces are primarily concrete with anti-fatigue mats where feasible. The position involves exposure to moving mechanical parts and requires working 40 hours a week with potential work on two Saturdays a month. Dress code includes closed-toe shoes, with non-slip or steel-toed shoes recommended.2
