What is the anticipated length/scope of the contract?: The anticipated length of the contract is 2 years, with the possibility of extension through 2026.
The ideal candidate for the Payroll Specialist position should have the following qualifications
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in processing payroll
- Experience with processing payroll in Canada.
- Experience with ADP Vantage/Workforce Now
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal tax regulations related to payroll.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- A high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain detailed records.
