Description: WHAT WE'RE DOING

At Lockheed Martin, we're supporting the U.S. Navy by ensuring the readiness and operational reliability of MK48 Torpedoes through expert-level maintenance and refurbishment. Our team at the Torpedo Intermediate Maintenance Activity (IMA) in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii plays a critical role in national defense by keeping these advanced systems mission-ready.

THE WORK

Supports the maintenance, reconditioning, refurbishment of US Navy Torpedoes in a team-based production-refurbishment industrial environment at the MK48 Torpedo Intermediate Maintenance Activity in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

Job duties shall typically include (but not limited to):

Develop/implement audit schedules for Material, Operational , Systems and Data Package audits. Includes development of audit assignments, development of random sampling schemes and communication/tracking of audit assignments/statuses.

Develop audit checklists that incorporate requirements of SW510-AJ-PRO-010/Common QAS, SUBTORPIMAINST 4855 (series) and other work-authorizing documentation as required.

Conduct Material, Operational, Systems, Data Package audits and Situational Monitors in work areas, storerooms and magazines. Requires observation of operations, review of quality records, inspection of components and materials and interview of key and operating personnel.

Complete audit/monitor checklists; prepare Corrective and Preventative Action reports. Route completed audits/monitors through IMA management. File completed audits/monitors. Maintain File folders.

As required, participate in Root Cause Analysis investigation and critiques related to audit findings.

Compile data for and prepare the Quality Assurance Summary Report (QASR); requires knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Adobe Professional.

Provide IMA management metrics related to completion of audits and findings for incorporation into IMA Quality Council indicators and the QASR.

Perform Top Level Review (TLR) of torpedo work packages.

Perform Group Level Review (GLR) of work packages.

Train other employees in accordance with best practices of the Quality Assurance group for both Quality Assurance Inspector (QAI) and work package reviewer (Both GLR and TLR)

Perform inspection duties in accordance with NAVSUP P-805 and other applicable procedures for ordnance/non-ordnance related material.

Maintain CAPA database and status the data to appropriate personnel

Basic Qualifications:

- Proven Computer literacy in operation of MS Office type tools and networked computer systems

- Maintenance process documentation acumen

- Experience working with Automated Data Collection Systems

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $49,700 - $87,515. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
