In the role of Wire Installation Design Engineer I, you will interface with external and internal customers to develop and maintain wire harness detail, installation, and bundle assembly. You'll have the opportunity to create and coordinate solutions for 2D and 3D wire harness installation designs and incorporates changes to design plan. Hybrid work environment, involving onsite at our Everett office and work from home, may be available for this position. Must reside within commuting distance from our Everett office.

This position contributes to our vision by:

• Developing and maintaining Wire Harness physical design and installation (e.g., 3D wire harness installation models, wire harness assembly models and 2D formboard drawings)

• Performing assigned tasks meeting the organization's expectations for quality, schedule, and process compliance

• Working with more experienced designers and other subject matter experts to develop solutions to complex problems, which require ingenuity and innovation

• Identifying the need for enhanced processes, methods, and tools and providing solutions

• Applying program technical requirements to design work requirements, processes, and tasks

• Designing with optimization through commonality, cost, weight, producibility, and maintainability of design

Job Requirements

Safran Electrical & Power looks for service-oriented team players with strong interpersonal skills, the right attitude and adaptability to an innovative and evolving environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent engineering degree

• Experience in an engineering classification preferred

• Experience with 2D and 3D CAD design (e.g. CATIA, AutoCAD, Pro-Engineer)

• Capable of resolving design issues by means of problem solving methodologies

• Able to understand technical data
