Fortive Corporation SaaS Associate Product Manager in Everett, Washington

Fluke has formed the Software Product Group with a simple mandate: define, build, launch, and grow new and innovative software solutions for the industries we serve. As member of the Product team, you will work in a small entrepreneurial group of engineers and product leaders to deliver novel SaaS solutions to users and iterate fast while leveraging the scale of a multinational enterprise. You will be given deep industry access and the freedom to envision and deliver solutions to big problems for our customers—the people who keep the world Hi up and running. Along the way, you will have just enough resources to get the job done and a platform to showcase your accomplishments with the executive leadership team.

Responsibilities:

In this position, you will be teamed up with a senior product manager to develop product and achieve product/market fit for a new B2B SaaS product. In pursuit of this goal, you are expected to:

  • Participate in market research activities to develop hypotheses around problems worth solving for your target customers

  • Design and execute market experiments to validate a compelling product vision

  • Serve as the champion of the user throughout the organization

  • Represent the product's vision with an agile development team and stakeholders

  • Help define the product roadmap and balance near term and long-term objectives

  • Lead and participate in the development team’s sprint planning, retrospectives, and other scrum activities.

  • Plan and manage the product’s release cadence while setting expectations for new features with users

  • Drive learning, tactical changes, and execution through weekly metrics management.

  • Engage with sales, channel partners, and customers via webcasts, meetings, marketing communications, and industry events

  • Report on product development progress, challenges, and achievements to leadership

  • You earned a BA or BS degree or have equivalent experience. A master’s degree is preferred.

  • You already have 2+ years of experience in software product management or equivalent

  • You thrive in fast-paced organizations where feedback cycles are measured in hours rather than weeks

  • You exhibit good teamwork and negotiation skills, and you know how to work effectively across an organization

  • You have a strong set of interpersonal, analytical, and execution skills

  • You have cultivated an understanding of SaaS best practices and business models

  • Your written and oral communication skills are top notch

  • You have a "get it done" attitude and you radiate team spirit
