The Boeing Company seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our quality team supporting the full scale fatigue facility in Everett, WA . This position manages employees performing aircraft full scale fatigue testing, receiving inspection and Lab Test programs supporting BCA and Military programs.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing quality assurance and quality control processes, ensuring compliance with AS9100 and QMS requirements driving continuous improvement across the organization. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional people skills, and a deep understanding of quality processes.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage employees performing Quality Inspection requirements
Develop and execute business plans, policies, and procedures while creating organizational and technical strategies to enhance quality performance
Provide education and coaching on the Quality System to team members and stakeholders
Acquire and manage resources effectively, leading process improvements and quality initiatives
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers, and direct reports
Monitor production processes and quality metrics, adjusting as necessary to maintain compliance and efficiency
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
Maintain accurate records of quality data, including non-conformance reports and corrective action plans
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experience leading and/or managing a team
Experience in the application of AS9100
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Proven experience in a quality management role within a manufacturing or machining environment, preferably in aerospace
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop employees
Excellent people skills to foster a collaborative and positive work environment
Proficiency in quality management systems and tools, including statistical process control and root cause analysis
Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and quality control standards
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range (Level K): $115,600 – $156,400
