Description Pharmacist Resident - Everett Medical Ctr Colby-Everett(HR) The Pharmacy Practice Residency is a one-year post-graduate residency program in an institutional practice setting that provides training as set forth and approved by the American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists (ASHP). The program will provide the opportunity to advance the resident's pharmacy practice beyond entry-level professional competence and develop the skills, knowledge, and attitude necessary for the provision of high-quality pharmaceutical care. Pharmacy practice activities are performed within the context of established policies, procedures and techniques of the individual ministry and division in which the resident is employed, as well as federal and state standards and statutes. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree: Graduated from an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited college of pharmacy Upon hire: Washington Pharmacist License or Upon hire: Washington Pharmacist Intern Registration Preferred Qualifications: PharmD Within one hundred and twenty (120) days of hire, or as outlined by program policies, whichever is sooner: Washington Pharmacist License Experience in hospital pharmacy practices as a student, intern, or pharmacist Demonstrated computer literacy Demonstrated drug knowledge, IV knowledge, and compounding ability Why Join Providence?
