Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking Mid-Level Manufacturing Operations Analysts (Level 3) to support the FOD Analysis and Compliance Team based in Everett, Washington , with potential for minor travel to other local Boeing sites.

The FOD Analysis and Compliance Team plays a critical role within the production system. Our team works cross-functionally with operations and support organizations to tackle FOD and compliance problems. An understanding of airplane manufacturing, LEAN principles, command media and the overall production system are ideal for this role. Successful candidates will have strong interpersonal and coaching skills that will further enable our business unit to embrace and elevate BPS culture, tools, and key performance indicators.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads complex group work sessions selecting and using advanced Lean principles, processes and tools to implement the Boeing Production System for internal or external customers.

  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.

  • Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk.

  • Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives.

  • Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans.

  • Works under minimal direction.

  • Working with all BCA programs on plans to control FOD and lost tools.

  • Analyze data to interpret trends and utilize predictive analysis to aid programs in implementing countermeasures to improve delivery stability and reduce customer findings.

  • Lead workshops that will provide innovative ideas to aid in the elimination of FOD and tool control.

  • Perform audits on all BCA programs to ensure compliance to our enterprise standards.

  • Partner with BCA programs and work with them to aid in developing executable get to green plans for FOD, tool control and compliance

  • Additional duties will include supporting the Enterprise FOD efforts.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment

  • 1+ years using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3+ years using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace

  • 1+ years of experience with the Boeing Production System

Typical Education/Experience:

Advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Summary pay range: $85,000 - $115,000
