Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an First-Line Product & Services Quality Manager (Level K) to join our Everett CQS (Customer Quality Support) organization in Everett, Washington.

We are seeking a dynamic leader with a proven track record of leading change, inspiring others, and challenging the status quo. This Manager interfaces and supports our Airline Customers as well as manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations. Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance. Provides education and coaching on the Quality System. Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports. Manages, develops and motivates employees.

The selected candidate will be Leading and mentoring a team of employees performing a variety of Customer facing quality functions.

Position Responsibilities

  • Manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations.

  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance.

  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.

  • May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies.

  • Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports. Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • 3+ years' experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with managers, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners.

  • 3+ years' experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change.

  • 3+ years' experience leading and influencing people in a Quality organization.

  • 5+ years' experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Experience with quality investigations and the MRB process.

  • Experience with Customer Quality

  • The ability to manage, develop and motivate employees.

  • Experience completing process-oriented tasks accurately and in an organized manner.

  • Self-starter who creates and implements job-related solutions and procedures.

  • Strong Quality Management Systems/Business Acumen; Adaptability, Communication, Continuous Improvement, Customer Focus, Managing Conflict, Building Positive Relationship, Ethical Leadership.

  • Demonstrated skills in Team Building, Systematic Problem Solving and Risk Mitigation.

Relocation

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range: 115,600 – 156,400
