Amergis Registered Nurse - MS/TELE in Evansville, Indiana

MS/Tele RNs – Nights - Deaconess Midtown

NO LOCAL CANIDATES (40 MILE RADIUS RULE)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Start: 5/6 - bi-weekly orientation

Guaranteed Hours: 36 (will accept 48 upon request)

Primary location is Deaconess Midtown Hospital – Evansville, IN

Shift Requirement: 12hr Nights 6:30-7

Float Requirement: float pool – first to float between Deaconess Midtown/Gateway (IN) campus (8 miles apart) & potential to float to Deaconess Henderson (KY – 11 miles). Potential to float mid-shift, 2 HR notice given.

On Call/Call Back Requirement: N/A

Weekend/Holiday Requirement: every other weekend/every other holiday rotation

Required Certs to be attached upon submittal: Must have current IN license or active compact (preferred) license. AHA BLS, AHA ACLS and NIHSS.

Minimum Experience: Must have 1 year of Med/Surg (prefer 2 years). 1 travel assignment required. Trauma level 1 or 2 required. Tele experience is HIGHLY preferred

Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)

Skillset:

• Midtown: Med/Surg, Renal, Observation, Oncology/Pulmonary, Ortho/Neuro/Trauma, Cardiovascular

• Gateway: Surgery/Oncology, General Med/Tele, Neuro/Surgical, Observation, Ortho/Surgical, Med/Surg/Neuro, Med/Surg/Ortho, Telemetry Stepdown

• Henderson: Med/Surg, Med/Surg/Ortho

Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): Level II Trauma Facility, Teaching Facility, Acute Care. Ratios – 1:7

Hard worker, resilient and manages change well, social candidates

Scrub Colors: Navy blue scrubs

Covid-19 Vaccine Not Required -- Subject to change

GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed
