Join our dynamic Architectural team within a multi-disciplinary engineering firm located in Evansville, IN. We specialize in a variety of projects including healthcare, higher education, K-12, industrial, and commercial sectors, excluding residential projects. You will report to the Project Architect and handle multiple projects simultaneously, contributing significantly to our diverse project portfolio.
Responsibilities
Work with architects to create, develop, and prepare construction documents.
Use AutoCAD to prepare detailed design drawings with plans, sections, details, elevations, and specifications.
Produce detailed and accurate construction drawings.
Understand architectural design principles, building materials, and construction methods.
Perform on-site field documentation of existing conditions.
Manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality work.
Apply drafting standards to produce clean, clear, and concise design drawings as per client standards.
Collaborate effectively in a team environment with other engineering departments.
Utilize problem-solving and critical-thinking skills in designing and developing engineered drawings.
Demonstrate initiative to expand knowledge base and pride in work.
Use MS Outlook, AutoCAD, Revit, MS Word, and Excel proficiently.
3D rendering experience is preferred.
Essential Skills
5+ years of architectural design experience across various project types.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Strong understanding of construction drawing creation and plan set preparation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Revit proficiency is a plus.
10+ years of architectural design experience is desirable.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46/hr.
