Ingersoll Rand Technical Procurement Specialist in Etten, Netherlands
Delair is a part of the Industrial Technologies & Services Group within the Ingersoll Rand organization. Delair is the plant based in The Netherlands that designs and controls production of skid mounted compressed air and gas dryers for various industries.
We are looking for a driven, goal-oriented and motivated Technical Procurement Specialist who proactively manages the technical procurement process and offers support within the company in the area of technical procurement.
Within the purchasing team, the Technical Procurement Specialist is responsible for the technical procurement activities of the EMEIA Engineered air treatment products and components for the distribution, rental and service activities.
Responsibilities
Procurement of materials and outsourced services based on requirements of the ERP system or those of internal departments.
Maintain contacts with contractors and material suppliers regarding the execution of projects and orders.
Reviewing bids and negotiating contracts within budgetary window.
Using data, ensure the continuous improvement of lead times, cost-effectiveness and quality.
Basic Qualifications
A technical education (MBO/HBO) supplemented with NEVI-1
A minimum of five years of relevant experience in a similar position and experience within a U.S. matrix organization.
Driver's license B
Key Competencies
Strong negotiation skills
Knowledge of ERP systems (MFG pro or SAP) and specifically P2P, MRP and PS
Experience in technical procurement within a project organization
Team player and having an entrepreneurial spirit.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English. German is an advantage.
Good skills in MS office
